When we first started our research that went into creating The Ant-Mote™, one of the products we discovered was a pole-mounted ant moat solution hand-made by Hal Malmquist, founder of BirdFeedersRUs [an American manufacturer of hummingbird nectar feeders]. Hal had modified a feeder from Best-1 that he was selling together with a modified ant moat that could be mounted on a 3/8” garden stake.
